Disney Balloon Release

• The World Record for the largest balloon release was broken by Disney in 1994 - the World Record still stands. The Watermark Team were appointed to manage the release which included inflating 1,592, 744 balloons simultaneously (2,000 helpers were brought in for the task)! Held at Longleat, the balloons had to be released simultaneously: to achieve this we designed and built six 40metre wide pods which could contain the balloons up until the point of release. The pods bespoke design enabled us to work with any wind direction on the day.
